Do you have a prayer Request ?

God gives us instructions to pray for others in several places in the Bible. The apostle James tells us to “pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).

Worshippers Gathering

Having accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and recognizing that certain duties can be performed best in a fellowship, we covenant to walk together as members of Christ’s Church Worshippers Gathering. We believe it to be the mission of the Worshippers Gathering to proclaim His Gospel to all mankind and to strive for the realization of the Kingdom of God.

Therefore, as members of the Worshippers Gathering, we will endeavor to understand one another and to sympathize with each other in temptation and affliction.

We promise: to work and pray for our church; to attend its meetings; to contribute regularly to its support and to the world outreach of our denomination; to study the Bible and to maintain a program of Christian Education; to encourage our Pastors by our prayers and to accept quietly the decisions of the majority of the members.

We, furthermore, covenant together to give a good witness for Jesus Christ in our daily occupations; and recognizing our duties of Christian citizenship we will cooperate with other churches and agencies against all forms of evil.

May the power of the Holy Spirit enable us to do all things to the Glory of God, our Father. Amen.

We Believe

  • The True God: We believe that there is only one living and true God, infinite in every excellence; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, yet one in substance and equal in every divine perfection. (Exodus 20:2-3; I Corinthians 8:6; I John 5:7)
  • God the Father: God the Father – We believe in the deity of God the Father, who is coequal in substance and power with the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the first person of the Trinity and has existed eternally. (Genesis 1:1; Psalms 83:18; Matthew 28:19, 20; John 5:19-27; Romans 8:15; James 1:17)
  • Jesus Christ: We believe in the absolute deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is divine as no other man can be being very God of very God, existing from all eternity co-equal with the Father and the Spirit; that He has never ceased to be God for one instant and that His humiliation did not consist in laying aside His deity that as a man He was miraculously begotten of the Holy Spirit and born …

In the midst of His greatest trial, Jesus prayed fervently. What would you have prayed about when facing torture and death? It’s fascinating to see what was on Jesus’ mind as He prayed, not only for Himself (Luke 22:41-42), but for His disciples and for us: “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
